The company was founded in 1935 as a sole proprietorship by Late Mr. Morad Yousuf Behbehani.
It has grown through multiple generations and is recognized today as a prominent family business conglomerate in Kuwait. Late Mr. Morad Yousuf Behbehani was a natural leader and a pioneering visionary under whose leadership the company helped shape the future of a rapidly developing Kuwait. His vision and contributions helped transform the quality of life in this desert nation during the mid-20th century in many ways including the introduction of air-conditioning, radio & TV broadcasting, and many other basic facilities and luxuries. Following the demise of Late Mr. Morad Yousuf Behbehani in 2005, leadership of the company was taken over by his sons Mr. Ali Morad Behbehani and Mr. Hussain Morad Behbehani as the President and Vice President.

Through its subsidiaries and joint ventures, the company represents over 100 international brands and engages in diverse business activities which include trading in luxury watches & jewellery, luggage & travel accessories, surveying systems, audio-visual equipment, medical equipment, air-conditioning equipment, telecommunications equipment. The company also operates automobile dealerships for German marques Porsche and Volkswagen and holds a multi-billion-dollar investment portfolio managed by a professionally structured family office.
