Officine Panerai Refresh its Pesence at Morad Yousuf Behebhani Multi-Brand Showroom
Officine Panerai, the Italian high-end sports watch brand renowned for its unique blend of Italian design and Swiss technology, is announcing the opening of its upgraded presence at the iconic multi-brand showroom of Morad Yousuf Behbehani, located at Salhiyah Mall, Kuwait City.
The new Panerai corner follows the 5.0 retail concept designed and created by world-renowned Spanish architecture, Patricia Urquiola. Respecting the identity of the brand with a timeless design, the 5.0 concept has been applied for the very first time in the Middle East after being incorporated in flagship Panerai boutiques across leading cities in the world such as; Florence- the city where the brand is born-, Hong Kong, New York, Paris, Miami & Johannesburg.
Commenting on this, Milvin George, Managing Director of Officine Panerai in the Middle East and India said, “We are delighted to exhibit our latest collection of timepieces in an elegant and functional space to better serve the rapidly increasing demand of Kuwaiti collectors and watch connoisseurs. The 5.0 design blends perfectly our Florentine origins with the universe of the sea, in a sober, rigorous and masculine style. The new concept remains true to the values of the brand and the pillars of its identity in an apparent contemporary simplicity.”
The sophisticated Panerai corner covers a floor space of 25.9 sqm in the multi-brand Salhiyah boutique, allowing the clientele to feel welcomed in an intimate and luxurious atmosphere while admiring the technical beauty of Panerai timepieces.
Founded in Florence in 1860 as a workshop, shop and school of watchmaking, for many decades Officine Panerai supplied the Italian Navy in general, and its specialist diving corps in particular, with precision instruments. The designs developed by Panerai in that time, including the Luminor and Radiomir, were covered by the Military Secrets Act for many years and were launched on the international market only after the brand was acquired by the Richemont Group in 1997. Today Officine Panerai develops and crafts its movements and watches at its Neuchâtel manufacture. The latter are a seamless melding of Italian design flair and history with Swiss horological expertise. Panerai watches are sold across the world through an exclusive network of distributors and Panerai boutiques.
