16, 2016, New York, NY – Today, Swiss Watchmaker Tissot announced the opening of
a groundbreaking new watch boutique in the United States located at New York’s
Westfield Mall in the World Trade Center. This marks Tissot’s fourth boutique
in New York, with three other boutiques already established in Times Square,
Fifth Avenue and Wall Street, making Tissot one of the largest watch companies
with a continued retail venture in the city.

a special “Family Day” in collaboration with the 9/11 Tribute Center and HEART
9/11 and with support from the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. As
Official Timekeeper of the NBA, Tissot provided a special experience for these
families and New Yorkers with a meet-and-greet and autograph signing with NBA
Legend Nate “Tiny” Archibald at the new boutique. Nate is a born and raised New
Yorker who spent 14 years in the NBA, making his mark as an NBA Champion, 7x
NBA All-Star and ultimately being enshrined in the Hall of Fame in 1991.
Visitors to the boutique were also invited to enter for a chance to spin a “Wheel of Prizes” which included a Tony Parker signed jersey, tickets to an upcoming NY Knicks game, a Tissot Everytime watch and much more. Fans could also play the new basketball video game “HOOPS by Tissot” for a chance to win a Tissot watch. “HOOPS by Tissot” is available for download on Apple and Android.
The boutique will signify a new retail concept for Tissot with animated graphics, unique customer experiences, striking brand ambassador visuals and of course a broad watch selection from Tissot’s many collections; Touch Collection, T-Sport, T-Lady, T-Classic, T-Heritage, T-Gold, Pocket and Special Collections. A “Watchmakers Corner” will also be a featured element with a Swatch Group watch specialist available for on premise sizing and repairs.
